Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy

As TP Thermoplast, we attach great importance to the protection of the personal data of our customers, business partners, employees and other stakeholders. In this context, we take the necessary administrative and technical measures for the processing, storage and protection of personal data within the framework of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Protection Law”) and the relevant legislation. This Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy (“Policy”) describes how personal data is processed, stored and protected by TP Thermoplast.

Collection and Processing of Personal Data

TP Thermoplast collects personal data in line with the legal reasons stipulated in the Protection Law and for the following purposes:

  • Contract processes,
  • Managing customer relations and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Carrying out marketing, promotional and advertising activities
  • Fulfillment of legal obligations within the scope of occupational health and safety
  • Execution of human resources processes
  • Execution of legal processes and compliance with legislation

Personal data may be collected and processed automatically or non-automatically, electronically or physically, limited to the above purposes.

Transfer of Personal Data

TP Thermoplast may transfer personal data to third parties in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the LPPD and the relevant legislation. The persons or organizations to whom personal data may be transferred are:

  • Business Partners
  • Suppliers
  • Legally authorized public institutions and private persons
  • Authorized service providers (IT services, logistics companies, etc.)

Personal data will only be transferred at home and, if necessary, abroad in accordance with legal regulations.

Protection and Preservation of Personal Data

TP Thermoplast takes all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of personal data. In this context, personal data is stored in secure databases and protected against unauthorized access, data loss, theft and other security breaches.

Personal data are stored for the period required by the purposes of processing.If this period expires, it shall be destroyed in accordance with the provisions of the relevant legislation.

Rights of Personal Data Subjects

Pursuant to Article 11 of the LPPD, personal data owners have the following rights:

  • to learn whether the personal data have been processed or not,
  • to request information if their personal data has been processed,
  • to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in line with their purpose,
  • To know about the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
  • To request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
  • Requesing deletion or destruction of your Personal Data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the KVVK legislation,
  • Requesting that the correction, deletion or destruction of personal data be notified to third parties to which personal data is transferred,
  • To object to the processing, exclusively by automatic means, of your personal data, which leads to an unfavourable consequence for you,
  • In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, to demand compensation for the damage.

These rights may be communicated by personal data owners to TP Thermoplast in writing or by other methods specified in the KVKK.

Policy Updates

TP Thermoplast may update this Policy from time to time. Changes to the Policy will be effective from the date of publication on TP Thermoplast’s website.
